The PB series is a standalone power backup module that can protect your box-PC from power outages. Using cutting-edge supercapacitor technology, it can operate in harsh environments from -25°C to 65°C and has extremely high durability lasting over 10 years.

The PB-2580J-SA and PB-4600J-SA consist of eight and four 370F/3.0V supercapacitors, respectively, while the PB-2580J-SA consists of eight 100F/2.7V supercapacitors. Each delivers 9250, 4600, and 2580 watt-seconds of power to provide extra extended runtime to support your system.

Thanks to Neousys' patented CAP energy management technology, the PB-2580J-SA can reliably deliver up to 70W of power to the back-end system and automatically manage bootup and shutdown without installing additional drivers/software. In addition to a UPS-like power backup mode, it also offers two advanced ignition control modes for in-vehicle use.

The PB-2580J-SA can work with a standard box PC or an in-vehicle controller to ensure a stable power supply and realize user-configurable power on/off delay based on the IGN signal input. Featuring various modes, auto-shutdown control, and up to 70W of output power, the Neousys PB series can work with most off-the-shelf box PCs. With features such as maintenance-free energy storage and uninterruptible power supply, the PB series can prevent data loss of the connected back-end system during a power outage in harsh industrial environments!

* To achieve a lifespan of > 10 years with 24/7 operation at 65°C, please charge the PB-9250J-SA to 6525J energy level using the 4.8x SuperCAP Life Extension setting (please refer to the user manual for details). Once the rated lifespan or cycle life is reached, the capacity of the supercapacitor may decrease by up to 30% and the ESR may increase by up to 100% from initial values.
** The backup time for uninterrupted operation may be reduced when maintaining a back-end system with high power consumption. Please contact Neousys Technology if your computer only accepts a constant voltage input.
