Neousys Train Computer – Nuvo-2615RL Series

The Nuvo-2615RL series is a fanless Intel® Atom® based railway computer, EN50155 and EN45545 compliant, for video-based railway vehicle applications such as NVR (network video recorder) and video analytics.

The Nuvo-2615RL features a specialized thermal design to meet EN50155 OT4 class (-40°C to 70°C) fanless operation with maximum CPU performance and up to 50W of PoE+ delivery. To handle harsh railway conditions, from voltage fluctuations to power outages, the Nuvo-2615RL is equipped with an isolated wide 43V to 160V DC input design and a built-in SuperCAP UPS to sustain more than 30 seconds of runtime without a power supply. If the power outage duration exceeds the sustainable time, the built-in microcontroller (MCU) will trigger a software shutdown before the SuperCAP runs out of power to protect hardware and data and minimize maintenance costs.

Powered by an Intel® Elkhart Lake Atom® x6425E quad-core CPU, the Nuvo-2615RL series delivers 1.8x the CPU performance compared to Intel’s previous Atom generation, Apollo Lake. The Nuvo-2615RL series features 4x PoE+ GbE ports with a total power budget of up to 50W for IP camera connectivity. In addition to the onboard M.2 2280 SATA SSD for system storage, the Nuvo-2615RL features a front-accessible 2.5" HDD tray that accommodates a 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD with a height of 15mm and a capacity of up to 5TB. For internal expansion, it provides two mini-PCIe sockets for WiFi, GNSS and CAN modules. It also has an M.2 3042/3052 B Key socket for 4G/5G mobile broadband modules.
