Neousys Train Computer – Nuvo-2610VTC Series

The Nuvo-2610VTC series is a robust Intel® Atom®-based in-vehicle computer featuring four M12 Gigabit PoE+ connectors and a front-accessible 2.5" HDD tray, supporting HDD/SSD up to 15mm height. It is designed to meet multi-purpose applications such as on-road, off-road or rail applications, from mobile gateways to data loggers and network video recorders (NVRs).

Powered by an Intel® Elkhart Lake Atom® x6425E quad-core CPU, the Nuvo-2610VTC series delivers 1.8 times the CPU performance compared to the previous generation Nuvo-2510VTC. To provide robust Ethernet connectivity, the Nuvo-2610VTC series provides four Gigabit PoE+ ports via M12 x-coded connectors and one USB 3.1 port with a screw locking mechanism. In addition to the built-in M.2 2280 SATA SSD for system storage, the Nuvo-2610VTC also features a front-accessible 2.5" HDD tray that accommodates a 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD with a height of 15mm and a capacity of up to 5TB. For internal expansion, it provides two mini-PCIe sockets for WiFi, GNSS and CAN modules, and an M.2 3042/3052 B Key socket for a 4G/5G mobile broadband module.

To meet versatile on-board deployment requirements, the Nuvo-2610VTC series comes in three different versions. In addition to the Nuvo-2610VTC, the Nuvo-2611VTC is equipped with an embedded SuperCAP UPS to withstand power outages or voltage fluctuations on the train, ensuring a smooth system shutdown in the event of a power outage. The Nuvo-2612VTC features a Cassette module for an additional Gen3 x2 PCIe slot that can accommodate an AI accelerator module with a custom-built thermal solution. With the AI accelerator, it becomes a fanless GPU computer for intelligent video analytics or a data logger with sensing capabilities.

Integrating Intel Atom® quad-core x6425E, -40°C to 70°C fanless operation, wide-range DC input with ignition control, and 4G LTE/5G NR mobile broadband connectivity, the Nuvo-2610VTC series is a rugged, multi-purpose in-vehicle computer ideal for aftermarket on-road in-vehicle applications. With robust M12 PoE+ connectivity and a built-in SuperCAP UPS, the Nuvo-2610VTC series can withstand harsh and unstable electrical environments for off-road applications such as trucks, cargo vans, and rail cars.
