Neousys' PB-9250J-110V is a newly designed SuperCAP UPS that accepts 110V DC input for rapidly growing railway applications. Composed of eight 370F supercapacitors, the PB-9250J-110V provides 9250 watt-seconds of stored energy to sustain the back-end system for seconds to minutes during power loss. Unlike traditional battery-based UPS systems, the supercapacitor has a wide operating temperature range and a long operating life of up to 10 years. Neousys' PB9250J-110V features an operating temperature range of -40 to 70°C and extremely high durability.

Thanks to Neousys' patented CAP energy management technology, the PB-9250J-110V offers advanced features such as real-time energy/power consumption monitoring, over/under voltage protection, and automatic/manual shutdown control. It automatically manages bootup and shutdown to help your system thrive in trains with unstable power supplies. Additional digital output channels are included to indicate system status, such as charging/discharging and power button control.

While computer systems are widely used in various railway applications, the electrical stability of railway vehicles remains a focal point and is critical to system reliability. The PB-9250J-110V can protect computers or other equipment from power outages when a train passes through a crossing or a railway switch. Furthermore, with EN 50155 and EN 45545 certification, the PB-9250J-110V can be easily installed and implemented with existing computers/equipment or integrated with an on-board power distribution system.

To achieve a lifespan of > 10 years under 24/7 operation at 70°C, please charge the PB-9250J-SA to an energy level of 6525J using the 4.8x SuperCAP Life Extension setting (please refer to the user manual for details). Once the rated lifespan or cycle life is reached, the capacity of the supercapacitor may decrease by up to 30% and the ESR may increase by up to 100% from initial values.
** The backup time for uninterrupted operation may be reduced when maintaining a back-end system with high power consumption. Please contact Neousys Technology if your computer only accepts a constant voltage input.
*** To ensure that the PB-9250J's power backup works as intended, please contact Neousys Technology technical support if your connected back-end system only accepts a constant voltage input.
