Based on the Intel®  Core™ quad-core processor x7433RE, the nROK 6231 complies with the particularly stringent EN50155 standard in a robust, fanless, and compact mechanism. The nROK 6231 provides full communication capability between the train and the computer via the built-in CAN FD interface. The nROK 6231 features rich WLAN and WWAN wireless connectivity. With dual SIM card support per modem, the nROK 6231 allows up to eight SIM cards to back up each other for a better connection quality or extra bandwidth via software. In addition, the eight SIM card, four WWAN module architecture can increase bandwidth for faster data transmission speeds. Equipped with smart power management, the nROK 6231 can be woken up by ignition, RTC timer or remote SMS message. By integrating various I/O ports, 3 x M.2, 2 x mPCIe socket expandability, up to three displays via VGA, HDMI and DP connections, the nROK 6231 maintains the flexibility to meet the demand for different railway vehicle applications such as infotainment, dispatch system, cellular/wireless network connectivity and video surveillance. The 2 mini-PCIe slot design can solve the potential demand from the market when needed.
