Intel® Atom™ E3845 Fanless Rail Vehicle Computer with EN50155 Compliance
Main Feature
Based on Intel® Core™ quad-core processor E3845 (1.91GHz), the VTC 6210-R is specifically designed for the railway vehicle environment. It enables the VTC 6210-R to comply with the stringent EN50155 standard in a robust, fanless and compact mechanism. The VTC 6210-R provides full communication capability between automotive and PC with the built-in CAN BUS 2.0B interface. The VTC 6210-R features rich PAN, WLAN and WWAN wireless connectivity. With dual SIM card support, the VTC 6210-R allows three SIM cards to be redundant with each other for a better connection quality through software. Furthermore, the three SIM cards and dual WWAN module architecture can increase the bandwidth for a faster data transmission speed. The VTC 6210-R supports not only data transmission but also two-way voice communication. Equipped with intelligent power management, the VTC 6210-R can be woken up by ignition, RTC timer or remote SMS message. Combining various I/O ports and 3 x mini-PCIe socket expandability, VTC 6210-R maintains flexibility to meet the demand of different rolling stock applications such as infotainment, dispatch system and video surveillance.
